Formed in ‘06, Hawka Hurricane are a four-piece metal band from Brighton. After many line up changes, we finally arrived with Stonie on Vox, Martin on Lead Guitar, Jordan on Rhytm Guitar and Curt on Drums.

We Auditioned for a 5th member but felt we did not need one right now, maybe this is something to think about in the future for Hawka Hurricane. While we are not actively looking, we wouldn’t turn down the right person for the band so feel free to send us a massage.

Our unfluences range from old school metal like Metallica, Slayer and Pantera, to newer bands like Mastadon, Machine Head and Killswitch Engaged. We try not to let our influences constrain us too much though.

In october 2009 we won our heat in the south coast battle of the bands and got to the Semi Final. It’s not over yet, the next heat will be on the 6th November.
